Introduction of New Software
We are excited to report that the testing phase of our new point of sale
software system is completed. We now operate “live” on our new system at
the Longwood, Florida location.
Service Manager John Jimenez is delighted with the new system. “It’s
delivers significant benefits to our Customers in both vehicle reporting
and ease of check in when service and repairs are needed”, he said.
TRANSMAN, the new software package developed by TMW Systems will, when
fully integrated, allow customized, downloadable reporting on unit and
fleet costs. This will provide a new level of information to manage,
budget and plan the maintenance costs of our Customers fleets.
Current plans for integration of TRANSMAN into the rest of our seven
Florida shops are aggressive. Tampa is next on the drawing board and
many hours of data capture have already begun.
As we integrate the software, one of the needs for prepping the system
is information on your fleet. Our Sales staff will be visiting you soon
to ask for your assistance in providing information about your truck
fleet. Please welcome them as we make the transition as seamless and
simple as possible.

New shop processes on the way! Truck PM plus is currently working on new
service procedures that will improve customer service and training at
all locations. Work has been under way for several months to roll out an
improved Preventative Maintenance procedure for all Truck PM plus
service locations across the region. After consulting with some of the
best in the business, Truck PM Plus will soon roll out our new look. Our
premier 49 point inspection has always been the heart of our maintenance
business and now we will have better trained technicians and a
standardized method of performing our work. The new look and better
performed inspection will actually be more comprehensive but for now the
name will remain the same as many of our customers have become
accustomed to branding of our " 49 point" inspection over the last 17
years.
